1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website at foundersandfrequencies.com (the "Site") and the publication Founders & Frequencies (the "Publication"). The Publication is operated by Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd, a Singapore-registered media-holding company ("Lumenwhite"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

2. Use of the Site

You may read, link to, quote (with attribution), and reference the Site for personal, educational, and journalistic purposes. You may not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or that would interfere with the Site's operation.

3. Copyright

All original editorial content on the Site — articles, photographs, illustrations, audio embeds where they are first published here, the publication's design system, the wordmark — is the copyright of Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd, except where credited otherwise. Third-party material reproduced on the Site (audio embeds from streaming providers, quoted passages, licensed imagery) remains the copyright of its original holder.

4. Quotation and republication

You may quote up to 200 words of any article on the Site, with attribution to the named contributor and the Publication, and with a link to the original. Quoting under fair use / fair dealing for criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, and research is permitted in line with the relevant jurisdiction's standards. Full or near-full republication requires written permission. Translations require written permission and language QA.

5. User-submitted material

If you submit a pitch, tip, correction, or letter to the editor, you grant the Publication a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to read it, respond to it, and (in the case of letters to the editor) to publish it with attribution. We will ask before publishing a letter, and we will redact identifying detail where you ask us to. Confidential tips are handled per our editorial guidelines.

6. Audio embeds

Audio playback on the Site is provided through embedded players from third-party streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Bandcamp). Your interaction with those players is governed by the relevant provider's terms.

7. Disclaimer

Content on the Site is published in good faith and reflects the views of the named contributors at the time of publication. The Publication is a critical publication; reviews and essays are opinion. We make no warranty that the Site will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any specific outcome will follow from reading it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd and the named contributors are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Linking to the Site

You may link to the Site freely. You may not frame the Site, reproduce its design system, or imply endorsement by the Publication without written permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising under these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
